March 18 - The Church Beyond Four Walls; COVID-19 Update
Mar 18, 2020 - News
Dear SANLO Family,
We now live with the new normal of a shelter-in-place lifestyle. We encourage you to stay calm and remember God is completely in control and entrust yourself into His good care.
The Elders and Staff want you to know that we have been working hard to ensure that we will continue to be church to one another. The Elders have decided to suspend all Sunday in-person services and gatherings for both the English and Nichigo departments and the foreseeable future.
But the Church is never constrained by four walls, and we will continue to worship together through our online services. We hope you enjoyed this past Sunday's Facebook Live service as many of you worshipped in your pajamas, with a cup of coffee and the comfort of your own home.
Here are several ways that we can continue to be a church beyond four walls together:
|Online Sunday Service @ 10:45am through Facebook Live
|Get ready for Sunday as we finish off 1 Peter! Log on Sunday @ 10:45am through the link below.
|Stay connected through our online news posts and weekly email updates.
|Community Beyond Four Walls
|We encourage you to continue to meet in your small groups through media conferencing like Zoom or Google Hangout. The staff enjoyed their staff meeting today via Zoom. Give it a try!
|We are committed to care for everyone especially those who might need a little extra helping hand. If you'd like to help assist or reach out to our seniors, please signup through the form below or contact Kathy Tekawa. |
|We still need your support. Please consider continuing your generosity by giving online via our website and secure giving page.|
|As a staff, we want you to know that we are here for you. If you need assistance or prayer, please contact us.
Praise God that we continue to be church to one another no matter the circumstances. Let us lean on each other and on Christ during this unprecedented season of life.
In His Care,
“Casting all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7
