INTERNATIONAL STUDENT FELLOWSHIP (ISF)
At SLZJCC, we desire to reach our world and community, so several of our members reach out to international students on the nearby campus of Cal State East Bay through a ministry called International Student Fellowship. They provide different activities for international students like Friday English Fellowship, basketball ministry, weekend sightseeing, and much more. VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL (VBS)
Every July, we provide a week-long vacation bible school for children from pre-school to Jr. High to have fun and learn about Jesus. This year’s VBS will be July 27-31st, 2009. This year our theme is “Crocodile Dock – Where Fearless Kids Shine God’s Light.” Please contact Gloria Kama for more information.
3-ON-3 BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT
Every August, we have a 3-on-3 basketball tournament for all ages and every skill level at the Alameda Naval Air Base Gym. We have eight different divisions for every person. This year’s tournament will be held on August 19, 2009.
CRAFT DAY
The women of San Lorenzo would like to invite you to the Annual Women’s Craft Day on Saturday April 10th, from 9am to 2:30pm. Registration begins at 9 am and with the program beginning at 9:30am. Click here to see more information.
HARVEST FESTIVAL
Every October, we provide an alternative to Halloween called Harvest Festival. It is a safe and fun environment for children of all ages to play games and to win prizes. We have a bible story time during every harvest festival as well. Click here to see more information.
